With over a decade of experience in hospitality design, Stina Funch is the visionary Creative Director of Atwater Inc. She has led a diverse portfolio of projects worldwide, guiding them seamlessly from concept to completion with an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Stina’s dynamic approach and collaborative spirit make her an invaluable asset to clients, contractors, and creative teams alike. Her ability to elevate every project’s vision ensures exceptional results that exceed expectations.

Ohlisa Gutierrez
DIRECTOR OF PLANNING
Ohlisa has extensive experience designing and executing innovative, high-profile projects for prestigious hospitality clients and boutique properties worldwide. Her portfolio reflects a commitment to excellence, with each project tailored to meet the unique needs of the client and environment.
With a keen eye for detail, Ohlisa develops a distinctive design narrative that evolves throughout the process, becoming the foundation for the final solution. She ensures that each design aligns with the brand’s identity and strategically positions it in the marketplace, creating a memorable experience for the target audience.
Ohlisa oversees all aspects of hotel design—from programming and space planning to working drawings, documentation, and on-site coordination. Her hands-on approach guarantees seamless execution and quality from start to finish.
Sara Papakhian
PROJECT DESIGNER
Sara joined Atwater shortly after graduating from Parsons in NYC and has grown alongside the studio over the past three years. Prior to entering the hospitality design industry, she worked in retail and residential staging, experiences that helped shape her strong eye for styling, composition, and creating warm, welcoming environments.
Since joining the team, Sara has become an important and growing part of the Atwater studio, contributing across hospitality projects through FF&E coordination, sourcing, presentations, and project documentation. She brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to her work, along with a genuine passion for design and an eagerness to continue learning and evolving within the industry.
As part of the Atwater team, Sara contributes creativity, positive energy, and fresh perspective to projects that seek to create layered, approachable, and experience-driven spaces.
